Salary:
£100 daily rate (negotiable dependent on experience).

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an ICT Technician to assist with the support team at a lovely secondary school in the Caerphilly area. This is a full-time role during term time and is due to start in April. This is an exciting opportunity and training will be provided on the job.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assisting pupils and teachers with ICT issues.
  • Offering technical support on a wide range of devices.
  • Need to be confident with Microsoft Windows, Apple and Google environment.
  • Helping with Networking, Audio/ Visual Tablets.
  • Changing screens on chromebooks etc.

The suitable ICT technician:

  • Able to act on initiative and problem solve.
  • Be friendly and approachable when communicating with pupils and staff.
  • Have prior experience working with ICT or a strong understanding.
  • Qualifications in ICT would be highly desirable.

This is an opportunity to join a lovely secondary school with a fantastic support team. The school has an onsite car park and access to public transport links. The school will be looking to take an ICT Technician on initially via Teaching Personnel on a probationary basis, before they appoint for a permanent contract.
