We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale on a permanent basis from November 2026.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive school and well-established department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their digital skills, confidence and understanding of technology.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Engage students through practical and relevant learning
  • Monitor, assess and support student progress
  • Prepare students effectively for examinations where required
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school
  • Build positive relationships with students and colleagues

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching ICT or Computer Science within a secondary school
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology
  • Be confident managing behaviour and maintaining high expectations
  • Be able to engage students of different abilities
