An esteemed group of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in Surrey is seeking a passionate and innovative ICT Teacher to join their dynamic team in Caterham. The successful candidate will be delivering high quality teaching and learning. Our students are aged between 11 – 16 with difficulties with communication and social interaction, typically associated with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
*Design and deliver an innovative ICT curriculum suitable for SEN students.
*Employ a range of teaching strategies to engage and support students with diverse learning needs.
*Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
*Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support student learning and wellbeing.
*Participate in and contribute to the school’s program of continuing professional development.
*Stay abreast of current educational technologies and integrate them into teaching practices.

Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*
A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
*
Proven UK experience in teaching ICT to students with SEN is highly desirable.
*
Familiarity with the latest educational IT software and the ability to integrate technology into the curriculum.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
*
A commitment to inclusive education and the school’s ethos of respect, empathy, and high expectations for all students.
