This long-term opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and discussion while delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin your career, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Inspire students to develop analytical, evaluative and independent thinking skills.

  • Assess, monitor and support student progress.

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the Humanities department.

  • Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines.

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • A creative and engaging teaching style.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

  • Competitive daily pay of £168–£232, depending on experience.
