Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September?

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Yeovil to recruit a passionate Humanities Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a specialism in History, Geography or Religious Education welcomed.

• Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop a curiosity and understanding of the world around them.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school.
• Has a specialism in History, Geography or Religious Education.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting every student to reach their full potential.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.
