The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Humanities lessons across subjects such as History and Geography
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting your teaching as a Humanities Teacher to meet individual needs
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support development
  • Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Promote both academic success and emotional wellbeing

About You
We are looking for a Humanities Teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities
  • Experience working with SEMH or SEN students (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of effective strategies to support SEMH learners
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Patience, resilience, and empathy
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
