The Humanities team as a whole are a welcoming, experienced and supportive group. We currently benefit from the enthusiasm and experience of four Historians, 4 Geographers and two Religious studies teachers, as well as the support of two SLT links who lead our Politics offer at A-level. The Professional Tutor is also part of our team and we are always keen to develop and improve, both as individual practitioners and as a team. As such, the Humanities team contributes to the training of new teachers as part of the Grand Union Teacher Training Partnership and participates in the SWAN network.

The departments are located on the recently refurbished Humanities floor in the main school building with 9 specialist teaching rooms. There is a spacious shared Humanities office which aids collaboration and gives a great community feel to the H floor, as well as a shared purposefulness.
