Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Salford secondary school in search of an enthusiastic HLTA to support an established and dedicated team of staff. This is a full-time position, working within school hours, starting in September 2026.

This secondary school takes pride in creating a supportive, happy, and secure environment that nurtures the development and success of its pupils. As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in delivering effective one-to-one support as well as assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery.

Role Overview
As an HLTA, you will support teaching and learning across the school. Your key duties will include:

Delivering targeted interventions and one-to-one support for students
Supporting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Assisting with the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:

A recognised HLTA Level 4 qualification
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and supportive approach to learning
An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
