Education and Training

£13.50 - £15.00 Per hour

  • Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities and lessons
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of teaching materials
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Supervising students during class and break times
  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Assisting in assessing students' progress and development
  • Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other school staff
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working in a classroom environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Prior experience working in a classroom setting is required

  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

This role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. The position may require occasional additional hours to support school events or activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
