  • Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants and other members of the school team
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Take responsibility for classroom activities and groups when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in working within a primary school environment
  • Confident supporting and leading learning
  • Warm, approachable and nurturing
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about children's education
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Confident managing groups of children
  • Patient, adaptable and organised
  • A strong communicator and effective team player
  • Committed to helping every child achieve their potential
  • Able to promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working with a degree of independence
