We are recruiting enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools throughout Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role, supporting pupil progress, delivering interventions, and covering lessons when required.

  • Support teaching and learning across the classroom
  • Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
  • Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions
  • Assist pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs, including SEN
  • Work closely with teachers to support academic progress and pupil wellbeing
  • HLTA qualification
  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A confident, flexible, and proactive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
