Position: History Teacher

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £140 - £195 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

About the Role

Working as a History Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging pupils to explore historical events, develop analytical thinking and understand the impact of the past on the modern world.

The History Teacher role in Doncaster may also include opportunities to provide general secondary cover, offering additional flexibility and varied teaching experiences throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Differentiate learning to support all pupils
• Undertake general secondary cover where required
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching History within secondary education
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
