Salary: £29,344 - £44,919 (MPS/UPS)

- Deliver dynamic and engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Inspire students through creative teaching that brings historical events, people, and societies vividly to life.
- Plan and deliver a broad and stimulating curriculum that encourages curiosity, debate, and analytical thinking.
- Foster a passion for History by making lessons relevant, interactive, and memorable.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential through differentiated and inclusive teaching.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to drive achievement.
- Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment where high expectations and excellent behaviour are embedded.
- Contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as history clubs, trips, themed events, or enrichment activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching History at secondary level is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History and Humanities education.
- Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate young learners of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for creating engaging lessons that spark curiosity and independent thinking.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to school life and professional development.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
