Higher level Teaching Assistant

Supply Desk are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the south Salisbury Suburbs

Starting Septembger 2026 on a long-term contract

Pay: £88 - £105 per day

Hours: 08:30  - 15:30

This school is noted for children enjoying going to school and for it’s supportive and hardworking staff. There are a number of children with additional needs and the school strives to be inclusive and adapting ensuring all children succeed and achieve.

Job Description:

• Working with a range of ages in small groups to support English and Maths
• Supporting whole class with Guided Reading, Maths and English, phonics and general classroom support if needed
• Some PPA whole class cover
• Supporting those with additional needs including EHCPs
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Pay: Daily Rate (£88-£105)

  • Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
  • Hours: Full time

Individual Profile:

• Good subject knowledge required
• HLTA certification
• Must have good classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Intervention experience preferred
