Teaching Assistant – Higher Learning (HLTA) – Wavertree (L15)

Salary: £85 – £100 per day.

A primary school in Wavertree is seeking a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to cover PPA across the school on a full-time basis. The position will commence in September 2024 and is fixed term for full the academic year, with the potential for permanency for the right candidate.

The school, a one-form entry primary, serves a diverse catchment area and has been rated ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted. It boasts an inclusive and engaging curriculum with extracurricular activities to enrich learning beyond the classroom.

Work hours for this role are from 08:40 to 15:40. The ideal candidate must hold HLTA status or possess a degree, with experience in teaching various subjects. Collaborative work with Class Teachers is essential to understand the individual needs of students. Strong behaviour management skills are also required.
