Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: NN8, Wellingborough 

Contract Type: Full-time, immediate start available

Are you an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity to advance your career? We are currently seeking a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in NN8. This is an exciting role where you will play a key part in supporting the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' learning progress.
  • Assist with planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external agencies to meet the individual needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, ideally at a higher level.
  • Strong understanding of educational strategies and techniques to support student learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' educational development.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
