Are you a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We are currently seeking a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in NN6. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students, providing guidance and assistance to both teachers and pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support pupils' learning progress.
  • Assist with planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, preferably at a higher level.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
