Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with complex and severe learning difficulties in the Tiverton area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with class teachers and other Teaching Assistants. As an HLTA, your primary responsibilities will involve assisting students in their academic and social development. Building strong professional relationships with students is crucial for their growth and progress.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Providing assistance with students' medical needs.
- Supervising students during break times.
- Offering constructive feedback on students' progress.
- Communicating effectively with parents regarding students' progress.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and possess excellent communication skills.

Additional duties include attending meetings and training sessions to further develop your role. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for permanent employment following a probationary period. Teaching Personnel offers competitive pay based on experience, ongoing CPD training, and the support of a Recruitment Consultant dedicated to representing you in Tiverton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
