Job Title: High-Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom

Salary: £100 per day

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: April 15th

Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a High-Level Teaching Assistant in Leighton Buzzard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support student learning and progress.
  • Assist in planning and preparing resources to meet the needs of individual students and the whole class.
  • Support the management of behavior and classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on student progress and performance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Previous experience covering primary classes
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to support students across a range of subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when necessary.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable.
