Are you a recent university graduate, an aspiring or unqualified teacher, or someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in Andover to support secondary schools, with opportunities available to start immediately.
This role is ideal if you’re exploring a career in teaching, looking for flexible or term‑time work, or wanting to build experience before progressing into formal teacher training.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre‑planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You’ll be responsible for managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies and maintaining a positive, calm and focused learning environment for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The role may also include providing additional support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or other additional learning needs, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
