Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools, Cardiff
Recently graduated and thinking about a career in education? Supply Hive Wales is looking for enthusiastic graduates to join us as Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Cardiff.
Working as a TA is one of the best ways to build real classroom experience, find out if teaching is right for you and strengthen your application for a PGCE or teacher training.
The role
- Supporting the class teacher with lessons and daily classroom routines
- Working with individual pupils and small groups on literacy and numeracy
- Helping pupils with additional learning needs (ALN) access their learning
- Creating a safe, positive and encouraging learning environment
About you- A degree in any subject – education, psychology, English, maths and sport are all great backgrounds
- No TA qualification needed – experience with children through coaching, tutoring, youth work or childcare is a bonus
- Reliable, patient and keen to learn
- An Enhanced DBS and EWC registration (or willing to apply) – we'll guide you through both
What we offer- £93 – £100 per day, paid weekly every Friday
