A larger than average primary school in Blackpool, Lancashire (FY1) are working closely with Teaching Personnel to recruit an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team on a full-time basis starting in September 2024. This is a full-time teaching assistant role which will run for the full academic year with the opportunity to work on to a school-based contract for the right person. School based experience isn’t a necessity as full training will be provided.

The role will be to work across the school, assisting children in KS1 and KS2 who need additional support with English. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to help children reach individual targets and to identify next steps for learning.

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, pro-active and has a passion for helping children progress.  This would be the perfect opportunity for someone looking to go on to do their PGCE in future to gain good experience within a supportive school for the remainder of the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
