The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers to support the learning and development of primary school students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with classroom activities and providing one-on-one support to students.
  • Helping to create engaging learning materials and resources.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Supervising students during break times and extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborating with teachers to assess student progress and provide feedback.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or level 2 or 3 qualification in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
