One of Teaching Personnel’s client schools in South Manchester require a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant on a part-time temporary basis who could ideally start as soon as possible. The school itself is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated institution that prides itself on being able to provide the best level of education for all of its students. The staff are friendly and approachable, and the students are thoroughly engaged within their learning – meaning that the school boasts consistently fantastic exam results.

The role would require the educator to work with pupils of SEN status in either one to one or small group settings within lessons. The candidate will need to work with the pupils within lesson time and should be able to provide additional support alongside the classroom activity. The ideal candidate would have experience of working within a similar role before and would have a strong desire to make a difference within this area.

  • School Hours 8:30am – 3:00pm
  • 3 days per week (negotiable on which 3 days)
  • Pay: £85 - £95 per day depending on experience
  • Starting ASAP – until the end of the school year

This role does not require the candidate to have QTS, however the candidate would require experience of working within a similar role that would provide them with either a specialized SEN skillset or a role that would provide a transferrable skillset for this job. experienced teachers who are looking for a different role are also encouraged to apply.
