Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are partnered with several exceptional Secondary Schools based in Wigan and are hiring multiple highly motivated graduates to support KS3/4 students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to classroom teachers delivering lessons.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help students with special educational needs or those requiring additional support.
• Supervise students during class, breaks, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor's degree/Awaiting degree.
•   Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
•   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•   Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
•   Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational environment.
