Are you a recent English graduate?

Are you looking to get started in Teaching?

Then look no further, we at Teaching Personnel are looking for recent graduates to join our team of Support staff, assisting with students who need that extra help with their literacy. This is a full-time role where you will be working Monday to Friday during the term time of schools. The role is located within one of our Newcastle schools with an Ofsted of Good. This will mean that your focus will be on assisting these students to level up their English.

Information about the role:

  • Pay is £84 - £95 a day with an hourly rate of £12.90 - £15.50.
  • You will be required to travel to the Newcastle.
  • There are many transport links to the area making it easy to access for both those driving and those on public transport.
  • The students will be KS1 and KS2 but the learning level may be below that for some.
  • The role will be a temporary placement within the school but has the potential to turn into a permanent placement with a contract with the school.
  • The role starts immediately with Teaching Personnel aiming to find you work the second you’re cleared.
  • The hours will be standard school time with some variation.
  • Strong communication skills will be required for the role, with a proficiency in both maths and English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
