Have you recently graduated from university and thought about teaching as a career?

Would you like to gain secondary school work based experience to decide if teaching would be for you?

If so Teaching Personnel would like to hear from you. As the market leading education agency we started the Future Teachers programme designed to address the national shortage of teachers throughout the country. The idea behind the programme is to give graduates a school based placement working in your specialist area e.g Maths department, English department, Languages department as a Teaching Assistant assisting fully qualified teachers. This enables graduates to either move on to their placement schools own direct teacher training programme or to support a University PGCE application.

Highlights of the Future graduate Teacher programme;

  • Weekly earnings up to £450 per week paid through PAYE 
  • Provide essential work experience to secure a place on a teacher training programme
  • Access to Teaching Personnel’s extensive CPD and training academy
  • Opportunity to work in a variety of secondary school settings 

Graduates interested in applying for the Future Teachers programme will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Desire to work in education and potentially be a teacher of the future
  • Suitable employment or school based references
  • Apply for a fully enhanced DBS certificate
  • Previous experience of working with young people would be desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
