Graduate Opportunities in Education – All Subjects Welcome

Not sure what direction to take after graduating this summer? If you’re open to trying something new, working in primary schools could be a great place to start.

We’re currently looking for graduates from all subject backgrounds to support in primary schools across the local area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, build confidence, and explore whether a career working with children or in teaching is right for you.

You’ll be working closely with class teachers and pupils across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, supporting lessons, assisting with classroom activities, and providing additional support to children who may need extra help—both academically and socially.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting teachers during lessons and classroom activities
  • Working with small groups or 1:1 with pupils
  • Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and general classroom tasks
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and staff

Why consider this role:

  • No previous school experience required – full support provided
  • Flexible opportunities to suit your availability (full-time or part-time)
  • A great way to explore teaching before committing to teacher training
  • Gain valuable classroom experience across different year groups
  • Develop transferable skills such as communication, leadership, and organisation
  • Ideal stepping stone into PGCE, teacher training, or education-based careers

Whether you’re looking for short-term work or considering a long-term career in education, this is a practical and rewarding way to get started.
