Graduate Learning Support Assistant / Cover Supervisor

The successful candidate will split their time between supporting students in lessons and covering classes during teacher absences, making this an ideal stepping stone into education.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff.
- Support students across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students who require additional assistance.
- Help maintain positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
- Assist teachers with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
- Support students with SEND, EAL, and varying learning needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Degree educated in any subject.
- Passion for working with young people and supporting education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident managing groups of students.
- Able to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.
- Previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work, or school experience is desirable but not essential.
