Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wincanton. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is looking for a full-time Geography teaching role starting as soon as possible.

The school is seeking a passionate Geography Teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, while creating a positive and supportive classroom environment.

• Full-time Geography Teacher position

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4

• Long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position

• Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons

• Monitoring and supporting student progress and achievement

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and attainment

• Working alongside a supportive Humanities/Geography department

• Creating an inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to achieve their potential

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• QTS or relevant teaching experience

• Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Geography

• Excellent classroom management skills

• A passion for Geography and education

• The ability to build positive relationships with students

• A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach

• A commitment to supporting students' academic progress and development

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with the relevant qualifications and experience are also encouraged to apply.
