As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to participate and achieve their potential.

• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with a range of abilities.

• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress.

• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

• Developing students' knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm for Geography.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Geography and Humanities department.

• Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

The school is looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching Geography within a secondary school environment.

• Has strong subject knowledge across the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum.

• Can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.

• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Can motivate and challenge students of different abilities.

• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality teaching.

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Is passionate about supporting students' academic and personal development.

ECT Geography Teachers are also encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers looking for their next long-term opportunity.
