As a Secondary Geography Teacher, you will teach KS3 and KS4 students how environments, people, and processes link together through clear, structured lessons.

Key responsibilities
Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
Deliver lessons covering physical and human geography
Support map skills and data interpretation
Develop structured written responses
Prepare students for GCSE exams
Track progress and provide targeted support
Maintain consistent classroom routines

The classroom environment
Lessons are logical and well structured
Students understand topics clearly
Learning builds over time
Behaviour is calm and controlled

Skills and experience
Experience teaching Geography or strong subject knowledge
Clear explanation skills
Organisation and planning
Strong classroom management

What success looks like
Students explain concepts with confidence
Written work improves in structure
Progress is visible across all levels

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with Geography or environmental backgrounds
