Full-Time | Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Location: Salford

We are inviting applications for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join our vibrant Humanities department from September 2026. This full-time position is open to both early career teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver inspiring Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 teaching opportunities for suitable candidates
  • Plan and implement engaging, high-quality lessons that foster a passion for Geography
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing effective support to enhance learning outcomes
  • Contribute proactively to curriculum development and extracurricular enrichment activities
  • Collaborate within a supportive, dedicated department to promote continuous improvement

We seek a candidate who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is on track to achieve it by September 2026
  • Possesses strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for Geography
  • Is committed to raising achievement through inclusive and differentiated teaching
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and effective communication skills
  • Is reflective, proactive, and eager to contribute positively to the wider school community
  • A welcoming, inclusive secondary school situated in the heart of Salford
  • Supportive leadership with a strong focus on professional development
  • Comprehensive ECT induction and mentoring programmes, where applicable
