Geography Teacher needed in NN6!

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Geography Teacher to join our dedicated Humanities Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5. This role requires a teacher who can inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in Geography.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geography education, a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, and a commitment to inspiring students to explore the world around them.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Stay updated on developments in the field of geography education and incorporate into teaching
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel
  • Promoting a geographic awareness to all students by discussing global events and cultural diversity
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) / ECT or relevant teaching qualification, showcasing your expertise in geography.
  • At least 3 months experience within a school environment where you have demonstrated your teaching ability, specifically in geography.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
