Here at Teaching Personnel, we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Geography Teacher in the Redcar area. The ideal candidate would ideally be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the subject and ability to teach pupils up to KS5.

Overview

  • Pay Rate: £30,000-£46,525 (depending on experience)
  • Teach up to KS5
  • Full Time position (8.30am-3.30pm)
  • QTS is required for this role
  • Experience in teaching the subject is essential

Roles and responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Have the ability to be understanding and approachable to all students
  • Take part in extracurricular activities where necessary
  • Engage with parents of students in parents evenings
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them understand and also improve their knowledge within the subject
