Geography Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an experienced and inspiring geography teacher seeking their next full-time role this Easter. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the subject and who is eager to make a positive impact on student learning. In your role you will support KS3 and KS4 students holding across a range of learning abilities.

This is a full-time role until July 2024. You will be required to plan and mark and be provided PPA time. It is an Ofsted rated ‘good’ school and holds a supportive staffing system within the humanities department. The department have excellent resources available for all staff to use.

Our vacancy is based in one of our North Manchester schools, situated in Rochdale. It is accessible to many transport methods, with on-site staff parking. The successful candidate will start this January until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create lesson plans and deliver effectively to students
  • Set and mark lesson related homework, challenging their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor student progress through grading and reports
  • Identify and provide individual help for those who may need it

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
