Academics are working with a high-performing secondary school in Wokingham that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team.
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Make geographical concepts accessible and engaging for students of different abilities.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to inspire a love of Geography.
- Assess students' understanding through classwork, homework, and formal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for a Geography Teacher who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Geography.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent organisation and time-management abilities.
