Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Barry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a positive and engaging classroom environment.

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Work with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
  • Provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance
  • Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
  • Experience working with children (school-based or transferable experience such as coaching, childcare, or tutoring) is desirable
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain one - support provided)
  • Safeguarding Level 2 (or willingness to complete - support provided)
  • Competitive daily rate of £93.95
