Salary: £85 - £100 Per day

We are currently seeking a General Teaching Assistant with at least one year of experience working in secondary schools in and around the Clapham area. As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom.

  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans
  • Support individual students with their learning needs
  • Supervise students during class and break times
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Knowledge of working in secondary school settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience working with SEN students

This role involves working full-time hours in a secondary school in Clapham. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality education to students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
