Support Teaching Assistant:

A great opportunity has arisen to join a welcoming secondary school within the Preston area to work as a classroom support assistant. The school has a strong behaviour management team and are welcoming and supportive to new staff and provide them with the tools to progress within the school.

This is a full-time role beginning at 8:30am until 3:30pm and would continue until the end of the academic year with the possibility to continue into the following year. It is a general classroom support assistant role and will require an individual with good behaviour management and a positive attitude. This role is to begin as soon as possible.

Requirements:

-          Experience working with children either in an education setting or carer setting.

-          Positive attitude.

-          Good behaviour management.

-          Good communication skills.

-          Professional manner.

Responsibilities:

-          Working closely with the class teacher.

-          Activity planning for the students.

-          Completing daily records for students.

-          Reporting back to Teachers regarding students.

-          Supporting children’s physical, social and emotional well-being.

-          Preparing the classroom for the following day.
