£157.66 - £157.66 Per day (increase to scale once worked over 12 weeks in same school)

The General Cover Teacher will be responsible for delivering lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This includes following lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline, and providing a positive learning environment for students.

Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

A Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field is required for this role.

Previous experience in teaching or working in an educational setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in the Welsh Medium.

Additional certifications in specific subject areas or further training in education are desirable.

This is a temporary position requiring full-time availability during school hours. The General Cover Teacher may be required to work in different classrooms and adapt to various teaching styles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
