The school:

This is a reputable community primary school within the Liverpool (L9) looking to employ a high-quality Teaching Assistant, with a role in a Year 3 classroom. As part of the role, you will be expected to support the learning and development of the children, alongside helping the classroom teacher with supervision and management. This school offers an ambitious curriculum helping each child reach their best potential – including SEND. This is a great opportunity for somebody to kick start their career in education, as the job isn’t exclusively being offered to somebody with experience. Educators with experience within the care sector and nursery sector are also encouraged to apply.

The role:

As part of this role, you will be expected to help the teacher set up for lessons, ensuring all resources and equipment are ready for the child to access. Safeguarding and supervising are key roles within this job, ensuring that all children are getting the support and help they need. You will carry out intervention sessions on both a 1-1 basis, and in small group to help meet the needs and best outcomes of the children. Working hours will be: 8.45am-3.30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. This role also includes a welfare duty.
