We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate GCSE SEN Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 support for a student with Special Educational Needs in the Stockport (SK11) area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tutor or qualified teacher who is passionate about helping young people build confidence, achieve their academic goals, and reach their full potential.

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 GCSE tuition tailored to the student's individual learning needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support SEN requirements and learning styles.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that promote academic progress and confidence.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE-level subjects.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant tutoring experience.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide professional references.
