Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their potential? TP Tutors is looking for an enthusiastic Functional Skills Tutor to deliver 1:1 English and Maths tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across NG9 1AE.

This flexible, part-time role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting learners with personalised lessons that boost confidence, develop essential skills, and improve academic progress.

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition in English and/or Maths.

  • Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs.

  • Adapt teaching for different learning styles, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Track learner progress and provide regular feedback to support achievement.

✔ Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
✔ Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
SEN experience.
✔ Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.
