Are you passionate about helping learners overcome barriers and achieve success? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to support students in Bacup, Lancashire (OL13) who need tailored educational support in English and Maths.

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging and personalised tuition sessions designed around each learner's individual needs. Whether your students are working towards qualifications, returning to education, or striving to improve key life skills, your support will play a crucial role in their success.

You will:

• Deliver high-quality Functional Skills English and/or Maths tuition.
• Create engaging lessons that motivate and inspire learners.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor progress and celebrate achievements.
• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence and independence.
• Support learners in overcoming educational barriers and achieving their goals.

✅ Experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills English and/or Maths.

✅ Strong understanding of the Functional Skills curriculum.

✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

✅ A passion for helping learners succeed.

✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
