Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role within primary education? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of fantastic primary schools in Liskeard and the surrounding areas.

We work with schools in a number of neighbouring villages, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in different school communities and supporting children to achieve their full potential.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom, helping to create a positive and engaging environment for pupils. You may provide support on a one-to-one basis, with small groups, or across the whole class.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting learning activities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Encouraging pupil engagement and participation
• Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation
• Supporting children with varying learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing

• Previous experience working with children is desirable
• Experience within a school setting is advantageous but not essential
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as many of our partner schools are located in neighbouring villages and accessed via rural country lanes
