Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent Infant School in Farnborough who require a Full-Time Learning Support Assistant to join their team!

 As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs.

What will your day look like? You will:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with learning disabilities or special educational needs.
  • Assist students in understanding and completing assignments.
  • Implement individualized learning plans developed by teachers and special education professionals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of students.

The role is for 5 days per week, Monday-Friday and is permanent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
