A dedicated and high‑achieving primary school in Preston is seeking a talented Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This full‑time role is ideal for a strong KS2 practitioner who thrives on responsibility, challenge, and making a real impact during pupils’ final year before secondary school.


In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Deliver high‑quality, structured lessons across the upper KS2 curriculum
  • Prepare pupils effectively for SATs and transition to Year 7
  • Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
  • Track and assess progress, ensuring every child reaches their potential
  • Work closely with the KS2 team to maintain consistency and high standards

We’d love to hear from teachers who have:

  • Upper KS2 teaching experience (Year 6 experience desirable, not essential)
  • Strong curriculum knowledge and confident behaviour management
  • QTS – ECTs and fully qualified teachers encouraged to apply
  • A proactive, resilient, and motivational teaching style
  • The ability to inspire pupils during a crucial stage of their learning journey
