A welcoming and well-supported primary school in Cheam is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team, working within a specialist provision based in a mainstream setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and adaptable teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs in a nurturing, structured environment.

You will be working within a specialist SEN provision, supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. The provision offers a smaller, more personalised learning environment, tailored to help pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering tailored, engaging lessons to meet individual needs
• Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour and social development
• Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
• Creating a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment
• Working closely with teaching assistants, SENCo and pastoral staff
• Building positive relationships with pupils and their families

• A full-time, long-term SEN teaching role in a supportive primary school
• A well-resourced specialist provision with small group sizes
• Strong support from experienced TAs, SENCo and leadership team
• A nurturing and inclusive school environment
• Competitive pay based on experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
