What does the role involve? - Teach across all levels and abilities
- Develop, maintain, and stimulate pupils’ curiosity, interest, and enjoyment in Design
- Develop pupils’ familiarity, competence, and confidence within a safe workshop environment
- Provide challenge for every pupil and encourage all pupils to achieve their potential in Design and
- Plan, prepare and deliver purposeful and productive lessons to assigned classes.
- Be prepared to innovate and devise imaginatively varied ways of teaching their subjects to inspire pupils.
- Encourage pupils and show enthusiasm for their subject in the classroom.
What do you need?- A Design and Technology -related education degree
- A valid QTS/PGCE
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
- Able and willing to travel to the area
- 2 education-based references
- A passion for teaching / supporting.
- Good approach to behaviour management
- A determined, hard-working attitude
Immediate start available. The school can offer you security with the role as it is a long-term position for at least 1 academic year.
